With an introduction of spur gearboxes into our basic products lines, 25mm series of PM stepper motors are now richer in motor versions except from the basic parameters like the voltage and current.
Currently our spur gears are typically constructed in metals such as steel or brass while they are made with straight teeth mounted onto a parallel shaft. The noise level of spur gears is relatively high due to colliding teeth of the gears which make spur gear teeth prone to wear.
The application engineers sometimes still prefer using our PM stepper motor with spur gearbox because the spur gears take advantages of high-speed ratios and high torque output. Please do not hesitate to turn to our technical teams to know more details about the motor performance either before or after an installment of spur gearbox.
